Where are you based?
I am currently based in Waitomo, New Zealand. My business began in the South Island's West Coast and in it's early years was located in Oamaru, New Zealand at the Whisky Art Gallery. 

Where do you ship from?
All jewellery ships from my store and studio in Waitomo. 

Do you have a physical shop? 
Not at the moment. Prior to the pandemic I did operate a small shop in Piopio. This is currently closed but may reopen in the near future. 

When will I receive my items?
Goods are shipped within 1-2 business days of receiving payment but the majority are sent within 24 hours. In many instances orders can arrive the next (business) day. 
My couriers work toward a 1-2 day business day delivery target between major centers, with about 90% of parcels being overnight. Please be aware this is a target, not a guarantee. For rural delivery allow for 1-3 extra days. 

Which courier do you use? 
In most instances I send to urban addresses with NZ post courier and rural with Pass the Parcel couriers. 

Can I combine postage?
Absolutely. I offer flat rate shipping on all of my postage rates so regardless of if you buy one item or twenty, the postage price will be the same.

Is your jewellery sterling silver?
The metal is sterling silver when those words are used. If the term 'silver tone' or just 'silver' is used then it is generally a silver coloured alloy. Many auctions have the option of buying the earrings with plain hooks or with sterling silver hooks. Sterling Silver hooks are also sold separately under 'other'. 

Do you make your jewellery?
I sell a range of jewellery I've hand made. I even make my own range of polymer clay beads. Look out for the phrase 'Handmade Kathryn Design Original' or something similar in the description. I also sell a variety of jewellery I've assembled from brought in components as well as a variety of selected imported pieces. I also sell some vintage and antique pieces. 

Do you sell on other platforms? 
I have a large trademe store that has been running since 2016. The store currently has a 100% positive feedback rating with over 24,000 trades. I also sometimes sell on facebook marketplace and via my facebook store. I also have a brick and mortar store though that is currently on hiatus due to Covid. 

Do prices include GST? 
Prices are not currently GST inclusive. 

Do you send my order in virgin plastic bags? 
No, I send in 100% recycled plastic courier bags and make efforts wherever possible to reduce waste.
